Drugs and guns were seized in a recent series of local arrests. A joint effort of investigators with the Specialized Narcotics Abuse Effort, the Antelope County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Patrol yielded three arrests on weapons and drug charges. The proposed criminal defense for the three individuals has not yet been revealed, as the case is still developing.

One Nebraska man and two individuals from Colorado were caught up in the sweep. Authorities served a search warrant of the man’s residence. He was found to allegedly be in possession of methamphetamine and was also charged with the intent to deliver the substance.

The other two individuals were allegedly found to be in possession of concentrated THC products, with possible weapons charges to be added later. During the premises search, the officers supposedly found 11 weapons and multiple controlled substances. Among the substances retrieved were five ounces of methamphetamine. At this time, all three suspects remain in a local jail.

The Nebraska man and the other individuals will face a day in court and may be subject to severe penalties if convicted of the charges. Criminal charges such as the weapons and substance distribution charges are considered a very serious crime in the state and may come with fines as well as jail time. Many individuals who have faced criminal charges similar to these have chosen to hire an attorney who can help them build a strong criminal defense that can possibly result in the reduction or elimination of the charges.
